Please reach us at pewaukeeduckrace@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question. If we don't know the answer, we'll probably just make it up.
No. You don't need to be at the race to win, but all your friends will be there, and they might talk about you behind your back, so its in your best interest to show up and cheer on your inanimate duck.
Real ducks, yes. These ducks, no. You can buy as many tickets as you would like. There are 1,500 available.
Sadly, no. Believe it or not, Wisconsin has rules for Rubber Duck Racing. Paper tickets and in-person purchasing are required. Feel free to check them out for yourself to see your state tax dollars at work!
So because of this, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO LEGIBLY FILL OUT YOUR TICKET STUB!
There will be a QR Code at the location where you purchase tickets. Scan that code, enter your credit card or Apple/Google pay info with your phone, and show the confirmation to the store associate. He/she will then provide you the tickets. Don't worry, its completely secure and uses the Square point-of-sale system. And if you don't trust the interwebs, you can always buy your tickets in cash.
The ducks are not allowed to be interfered with once they enter the water. We'll have people in the water making sure none of the wayward ducks get left behind. Luckily, we know people, who has an uncle, who is owed a favor by their babysitter who married into an agreement, and we'll be able to open the dam, and give these rubber ducks the ride of their life down the river.

100% of the proceeds go directly to Pewaukee Park and Recreation.
All the other ideas we had violated article 18 of the Geneva Convention. Rubber ducks was the only thing we could get through the board.
