See you in 2024!
The Duck Race is a fundraiser, first and foremost, benefiting Pewaukee Parks and Recreation, as well as the Pewaukee River Partnership. On July 4th - just after the parade - up to 1,250 rubber ducks will splash into the Pewaukee River upstream of the covered bridge. The ducks will "race" to the Oakton Ave Bridge.
At 4pm, these intrepid fake fowl will battle each other, as well as obstacles, as they make their way down the 300 foot river course, as onlookers cheer. The ducks will all be sporting numbers on their bellies that correspond to a ticket number. The first 3 ducks to float their way into the chute earn their ticket holders some cash!
1st Place: $500
2nd Place: $250
3rd Place: $100
